A nation’s progress is measured by the level of its citizen’s education – as shown through the human development index (HDI), which is used by United Nations Development Programme UNDP, to rank the level of nations‘ development. It contains indices like education, income and life expectancy. Nigeria’s HDI is ranked low at 0.514 (2015) where Trinidad & Tobago and Libya are 0.772 & 0.724 respectively.
