Tinubu Square

Tinubu Square

Named after Madam Efunroye Tinubu aka Madam Tinubu, a trader known for her heroism and sacrifice. She was a non-conformist with the British Colonial Government, who banished her from Lagos to Abeokuta, her native town. At the background are modern skyscrapers housing financial institutions, insurance companies etc. The old and the new CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria) buildings are on the right.
